I specialize in highly detailed graphite drawings, and my prices reflect this valued commitment.
These prices include shipping and handling if applies, and to compliment the artwork a simple background of my choice free of charge. A second subject is 60% extra. (Two dogs versus One for example). Full background is also an additional charge, the amount depends on complexity. (Complicated pattern on a sofa versus a simple curtain backdrop)

These prices are guides, and reflects these specific image sizes. As composition varies, we going to agree on the size and price during our final decision making, when the final sketch is approved.

COMMISSIONING AN ARTWORK
The Process:
After your request, I contact you in couple of days to discuss your thoughts on the commission: sizes, styles etc. Usually I am asked to work from photos. After I looked at your photographs, we going to have the decision on the artwork.
When I am finished my sketch on the subject I email it to you for approval. At that point you are able to request any minor changes at this one time. After we reached our final decision, and I received your approval of the final sketch I require a deposit - 1/3 of the full amount - to start to work on the project. Upon request I can send you 2 progress images of the artwork via email. In the unfortunate event when we are not able to proceed to the finish artwork, I keep the deposit, and send you the final approved sketch. Any unfinished artwork will be my property.
When the portrait is done, I send a digital proof of the work. After your approval and receiving the amount due, I mail your artwork. Your order will be complete with a complimentary greeting card picturing the artwork.
Turnaround:
After I received the deposit, it takes me about 1-2 months to finish your art. The time can be shorter or longer depends how many work I have in hand at that point. If you thinking of a Christmas present please order at-least 6 months in advance.
Take advantage of my Gift Certificates when the time is short to complete an artwork, or you want to transfer the decision making process.
Shipping:
I send the artwork via UPS, signature required. My prices includes shipping and handling. Express, or Second day shipping is available for additional cost.
Your artwork is send with the gallery standard MasterPak package system, to insure care and safe arrival, ready for giving and/or your costume framing needs.
Photographs:
Your mailed photographs will be handled with the biggest care and will be returned to you safely. Please note that I only able work from photos with good, sharp focus on the subject. If your photos taken professionally please make it sure to have permission from the creator. I use these photos for reference not for copying the image.
Sizes:
The smallest size I work with is the image size of 8x10 inches. The measurement is taken from the most further points of the drawing.
Copyright:
Although I retain full reproduction rights to my artworks, I am not exercising these rights without the permission of my clients.
